Abstract:

Training was needed for USA teams for NE-l. The UK/USA Ministry Partnership facilitated a large-scale missions and evangelism outreach event in the Northeast of England called NE-l. During the last week ofJuly 2006, approximately one thousand (1000) United Kingdom student-missionary and adult-missionary volunteers partnered with approximately one hundred fifty (150) USA student-missionary and adult missionary volunteers from various churches and ministries from across the state of Texas. These approximately one thousand one hundred fifty (1150) student-missionary and adult-missionary volunteers worked together with an additional two thousand (2000) English people from local churches, ministries, and city council positions to engage in over one hundred (100) social action ministry projects in Jesus' name which were located in four (4) main regions of Northeast England. The intended result of this DMIN project was to create a ten-week standardized, effective Training Guide for American teams involved in the UK/USA Ministry Partnership. This training consisted of daily and weekly spiritual disciplines.
