This book is very good and i would buy it if i were you i would say if you were probily read if you are in the age group from 8-12 this book is excellent

A good start to a funny series. I like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and I'll buy/read every upcoming book that comes out in the series. Three and a half stars.

Ages 7 - 10 or higher for reluctant readers; boys and girls

This journal ("not a diary") of Greg Haffley, in his first year of middle school, is a good book for reluctant readers of either sex, but especially targets boys. It is laugh-out-loud funny, and accurately depicts issues of the middle-schooler with humor and sensitivity. the print is large and the font is set to look as if hand-printed (but still legible) with cartoon drawings depicting some of the action. Highly recommended.
