Summary:
Dinky's mother is a secretary who has been framed by her boss for passing fraudulent bond certificates and sent to prison. She tries to keep this a secret from Dinky, but when he finds out, he runs away from his military academy to escape the cruelty of the other cadets, and attends school at a neighboring orphanage, where he plays on the football team against the academy.
