Dominion is an inventive, contemporary and absorbing book which lived up to expectation. The story was basically one of a somewhat world-weary detective on the hunt for a serial killer, and although similar story lines have been done before, Wayne Sharrocks masterfully pulls this fascinating plot together, and his sense of place casts a powerful shadow over this subtle tale of the recurrence of evil. 

This book is a crime novel that combines deep psychological insight & investigation techniques, emotional drama and a thought-provoking text. As you turn the pages you see the tale unfurl through the eyes of the two opposing factions-the police chief leading the investigation & the serial-killer that has tormented his every waking hour for the past few years. This cat 'n' mouse game escalates towards a chilling finale that provides some very astute text, characterization & psychological insight.
