Abstract:

The nut: An eccentric inventor tries to win the heart of a young lady by attracting wealthy donors to support her somewhat misguided program to help poor children, while also keeping her from falling for a less sincere suitor.

The mark of Zorro: In the Spanish colony of California, Don Diego Vega leads a double life: publicly, he is the son of a wealthy rancher; in secret, he is the dashing masked-and-caped Zorro, who wages a one-man war to rescue his fellow citizens from the tyrannical Captain Juan Ramon.
