Dr. Dorothy Height has championed social causes and has been a role model for social workers, nurses and other human services professionals. This short documentary made possible by SUNY, Stony Brook and sponsored by The W.K. Kellogg Foundation commemorates her legacy that has guided many professionals as well as African American communities, women, and the nation. Dr. Height is featured in this interview venue which includes brief historical insights as to how she affected the lives of those who knew and worked with her as well as the nation.
