Summary:
A Lakota storyteller and his grandson, a troubled 17-year-old boy, embark on a cross-country journey toward self-discovery. The grandson agrees to take his grandfather from Pine Ridge Reservation in S.D. to a powwow in Santa Fe in order to escape from some trouble with the local gang.
