Dwadash Jyotirling   (2010-10-23)

User profile avatar

An extremely comprehensive, authentic and illustrated book on the 12 Jyotirling temples which are the most revered Shiv temples of Hindus, spread across India. 'Dwadash' stands for twelve and 'Jyotirling' refers to those Shivlings which are believed to have emerged / surfaced on its own from the surface of the earth. The author being a great artist and a photographer himself, has personally visited all the temples which itself is a rare blessing, and studied the subject in great detail.  This aspect is clearly reflected in this exhaustive volume which has been presented in a simple, precise and logical form with an overbearing aesthetic sense.
