Abstract: Specifically, the problem of the present study was to determine: 1) The effect of a single isometric exercise of short duration (while the muscle maintains its natural length) on the strength and endurance of the exercised muscle. 2) The effect of repeated isometric exercises of short duration (While the muscle maintains its natural length) on the strength and endurance of the same muscle. 3) In addition, a control group will perform isotonic progressive resistance exercise according to the classical DeLorme technique in which strength and endurance changes will be recorded for the same muscle.
