Abstract:

In January 2009, a brand-new, high-energy version of The Electric Company was introduced by PBS, to step in to bridge the literacy gap, helping 6 to 9-year-olds expand their vocabularies and learn to love reading. The reinvigorated program follows a crew of street-smart friends who dance, sing, and beatbox their way through the literacy challenge of the day. Now in its third exhilarating season, the show has earned numerous awards, including seven Emmys (Outstanding Children's Series) and two Parents' Choice Awards.

Franscent: Francine ruins both her science project and Lisa's. The two rivals need to find a way to work together on a new project or they'll both fail.

Pop goes the easel: Jessica and Danny get stuck in a magical painting. The Electric Company needs to work with the mysterious artist to get their friends back into the real world.

Goodnight, Robot: The Electric Company circulates a petition to save a famous literary landmark from destruction.
