The materials document Brayboy's activities with the Community Council of Atlanta (1973-1976), the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (1975-1989), the United Methodist Church, the use of the Atlanta Public Library for voter registration, and the Council on Battered Women (Atlanta, Ga.) (1985-1986). Notable correspondents include Jimmy Carter, Coretta Scott King, John Lewis, and Andrew Young. The collection also contains memorabilia from the Booker T. Washington High School (Atlanta, Ga.) from 1935.
