Abstract:

The Enhanced Occupational Outlook Handbook combines three sources of career information into one convenient volume: Full descriptions of nearly 270 major jobs from the Occupational Outlook Handbook, easy-to-read descriptions of major jobs covering about 90 percent of the workforce. 2. The most recent facts from the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) database, regularly updated by the Department of Labor, are used to describe approximately 800 more-specialized jobs related to the OOH jobs. 3. The Dictionary of Occupational Titles is a source for a huge variety of very specific job titles. Brief descriptions for nearly 5,500 DOT jobs related to the OOH job titles are included.
