Notes: The Ermengard Maitland Correspondence consists of a single letter written to Professor Robert Livingston Schuyler (1883-1966), professor of History at Columbia University and editor of Frederic William Maitland, Historian. The letter, dated 16 February 1961, is laid into a copy of F.W. Maitland, a child's-eye view, written by Ermengard Maitland and inscribed to Professoer Schuyler.
