From Brideshead Perspective, very good

by vleighton (WorldCat user published 2012-07-11) Excellent Permalink

I only dipped into this book to study its interpretation of Brideshead Revisited. I wanted to see who among pre-1960 critics discussed the neo-Platonic themes in Brideshead. This book walks the reader through many subtle themes that recur throughout Waugh's career, including neo-Platonism.
