By Roger Williams of Providence in New-England. London, Printed, in the second month, 1652.
In some copies the 1863 imprint is repeated in red at the foot of the facsimile title page.
With new introduction signed "F. W." (presumably Francis Wayland, who subscribed for 4 copies) and dated: Providence, December 1st, 1862.
Printed by subscription, at 50 cents per copy; according to Rider's manuscript subscriber list (in the John Hay Library, Brown University) a total of 500 were printed, of which 467 were subscribed for.
