Decoration: Alternating red or blue initials at the beginnings of each paragraph; occasional red and blue pen-flourished initials.
Binding: 18th cent. calf over paper boards; gold tooled; red spine label "Lidgate MS."
Origin: Written by an unknown scribe, presumably in England, ca. 1450.
