Sander Zulauf has selected the best from a series of poetry readings given between 1976 and 1985 at County College of Morris. Volumes 1 and 2 present contemporary American poets reading a poem or two -- X.J. Kennedy, Paul Zimmer, Lyn Lifshin, Ishmael Reed, Stephen Dobyns, Philip Appleman, Elizabeth Bishop, Donald Hall, James Wright, Gibbons Ruark, Kenneth Burke, Allen Ginsberg, Michael S. Harper, William Stafford, Philip Levine, Diane Wakoski and Louis Simpson.

Volume 3 is the entire James Wright reading of September 1976.
