Abstract:

Discovered by the former quarterback she was hired to tail, detective Piper Dove pretends to be the athlete's stalker and is subsequently hired by him, an arrangement threatened by their growing chemistry.

Piper Dove's first job as a detective is to trail former Chicago Stars quarterback Cooper Graham. After he spots her, Cooper hires Piper to keep an eye on the employees at his exclusive new nightclub. Neither one can stand to lose-- but their growing chemistry causes them to test themselves and discover what matters most.
