Plantation records and journal entries, 1832-1843, kept by Frederick A. Ford, re travels and voyages, purchases of slaves; weather conditions; elections and politics; births and deaths of children; education of children; and burning of a steam mill, June 1839.

Volume, 1904, by Lucius Milton Ford, re genealogy of the family of Nathaniel Ford (1753-1843) of Fairfield District, S.C., including notes re Confederate military service of Lucius Milton Ford, John Long Ford, Robert Ford, and Robert Hezekiah Ford.

Also including letter of condolence to Marianna P. Ford in Aiken on death of her father, 1910; two copies of "The Church Almanac," 1842 and 1844; genealogy, 22 Feb. 1968, including partial history gathered by Mrs. J.T. Hooker.
