Abstract:
The story of Nietzsche's sister, Elisabeth, who married a pseudo-intellectual racist. Inspired by Wagner to reject German urban civilization in favour of Aryan spirituality, they established a colony in Paraguay. The colony barely survived, but Elisabeth's racist views eventually underpinned Nazi ideology.
