Collection consists of papers relating to Frank Galbreath's father, oilman Robert Galbreath, Sr., driller of the Ida E. Glenn no. 1 oil well which began the growth of the oil industry in Tulsa and the state of Oklahoma. Included among the papers are correspondence between Robert Galbreath and various individuals dating from 1910 to 1952 including such figures as Adlai Stevenson and Robert S. Kerr as Senator then Governor of Oklahoma; stock certificates; oil and gas leases; press cuttings and memorabilia; and page proofs and research materials, including a map of Creek towns and the Creek Nation in 1891 for Frank Galbreath's book Glenn Pool: and a Little Oil town of Yesteryear published in 1978.
