Abstract:

Frank Lloyd Wright, as an architect and a human being, had an ability to live in the now and be aware of the present, of what was around him, especially the natural environment. He had a love of nature, worked with nature, understood what nature was, what it was to get into that essence of ourselves and the essence of what the Earth is. He had an ability to take that, and translate that, by analysis and synthesis, into buildings, into a way of life. He was in tune with the nature of the materials he was working with, with the society he was working with, and also aware of the nature of the client and of how they wanted to live.
