|Notes:||Composed photoreproduction of a series of articles exposing how a handful of Dade County, Florida, court-appointed lawyers billed taxpayers millions of dollars for work they did not do. The series prompted a state bar investigation resulting in an overhaul of the system, including a rotation system and random audits; published in the Miami herald, in 1992.
Silver Gavel Award winner in the daily newspapers (200,000-500,000 circulation) classification of the 36th annual Gavel Awards Competition sponsored by the American Bar Association.
