Abstract:

Like an unstoppable cosmic storm, the dreaded Genesis Wave continues to sweep across the Alpha Quadrant, transforming planets, and thus threatening, entire civilizations. To combat the terror, Capt. Jean-Luc Picard has been forced into an uneasy alliance with both the Klingons and the Romulan Empire, both of whom may crave the Genesis technology. Geordi La Forge and other engineers must devise a way of combatting the disaster, but the other question that must be asked and answered is -- who launched the wave against an unsuspecting galaxy?
