Billy Graham leads the session in prayer and then Ted Stevens introduces Chief Supreme Court Justice William Rehniquist and Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, whom administer the oaths of office. The outgoing president, Ronald Reagan, and the First-Lady Nancy Reagan, wish the Bush Family the best of luck. The ceremony includes stellar performances by The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, The Harlem (Ky) Boys' Choir, and the beautiful rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" by Staff Sergeant Alvey Powell.
