Printed at the University Press, London. Written in the front of the book: "G. W. Teal. Good Friday. April 11th, 1879." Book 2 - "Steps To The Altar; A Manual of Devotions For The Blessed Eucharist." By W.E. Scudamore, M.A. Published by E. & J.B. Young & Col, New York, 1883. Written in front: George William Teal ... Confirmed in Grace Church, Georgetown, Colo., June 5, 1884." Book 3 - "A Hasty Blow; or, The Sandals of Peace." by A.L.O.E. publichsed by Gall & Inglis, London. Written in front: "Presented to G.W. Teal before leaving England October 7th, 1872, by his friend G. Moulton. Remember me." Book 4 - A small grid-paper notebook which contains a map of Boulder County, notes on geologic formations, and field notes. Written in front: "Please return this book to Dr. W.P. Harlow, 541 Higland Ave., Boulder, Colo. or The University of Colorado, Department of Geology." Book 5 - "Instructions of the Commissioner of the General Land Office to Surveyors General of the United States, Relative to the Survey of the Public Lands and Private Land Claims." Published by the Government Printing Office, Washington, 1881. Book 6 - George W. Teals' five hundred and five page notebook, four hundred forty-nine pages of which contain surveys of mining claims. Folded inside the book is a Bond and Lease between A.J. McCarty and George H. Teal (lessors) and Fred Magor (lessee) for the Woodland Lode Mining Claim, Sugar Loaf Mining District, dated July 13, 1935. Book 7 - Smelter receipts for ore from the Melvina Mine, July 19, 1875-September 16, 1897. Near the end of the book there are receipts for ore from the Great Eastern, Mary, and Last Chance mines. The names and businesses listed below are in order according to when they appeared in the receipt book. Names in the beginning are at the top of the list. |
