What a book! I read this book to my 5 year old child and it touched him as it did me. He "got it" as I "got it". Highly recommended story. True to life.

A true timeless classic, this is a heartwarming tale follows the relationship between a boy and a tree through several decades. I loved it. I think that this is a great read for the beginning reader, and also a great introduction to Emotional Intelligence (EQ) as well.

This book is timeless. I read it with my mother when I was young and now read it with my son. Its a great book that reflects life in such a beautiful way!
