Great for Parent to Child

by DrHBlack (WorldCat user published 2010-02-13) Very Good Permalink

What a book!  I read this book to my 5 year old child and it touched him as it did me.  He "got it" as I "got it".  Highly recommended story.  True to life.

My Thoughts.....

by marie99 (WorldCat user published 2009-12-17) Excellent Permalink

A true timeless classic, this is a heartwarming tale follows the relationship between a boy and a tree through several decades. I loved it. I think that this is a great read for the beginning reader, and also a great  introduction to Emotional Intelligence (EQ) as well.
