Mafia, the Godfather

삼십년전에 이 책을 읽었을 때의 충격은 대단했다. 첫 페이지부터 손을 놓을 수 없게 만든 책이었다. 페이지가 넘어감에 따라서 독자들은 마피아 세계의 조직범죄에 노출된다. 말로 표현하기 힘든 이태리 시실리섬에서 자라난 폭력이 있다. 그러나 이 책은 그 폭력뿐만아니라 가족, 명예, 지역사회, 우정, 존경 등도 잘 표현해주고 있다.
