great chapter on buddhism

i'm a buddhist and thought the chapter on buddhism was objective.  i learned a lot about my own faith.

very good, but better for businessperson that pastor

I read this book to learn about world religions.  It is the best I've read on an introductory level.  The book was written for a businessperson and I would have learned more if I were working in that context.  Still, I recommend it highly.

I am a psych major and taking a world religions class at Fuller this quarter.  My prof assigned a number of academic books about the world's religions.  I found them to be dry and difficult to understand.  I also struggled with some of the authors who claimed...

Chapter on Secular Post-Modernsim is the best

I'm doing research on how religious beliefs correlate to business practices.  I read 3 other books this weekend and liked this one the best, particular chapter 10  that deals with secular post-modernism. The author does not portray it as a good thing.

One word of caution, the Fuller...
