Abstract:

Holiness may not be a popular word, but peace is. In the preface of this helpful book, the author asserts that "The way of peace and the way of holiness lie side by side; or rather, they are one." Peace is the desire and ambition of all mankind. Equally true is the fact that peace of lasting value cannot be found outside of the holiness provided in the person of Jesus Christ. It is the purpose of this author to make a scriptural examination of the triumphant Christian life and to explore the ramifications and implications of the new life. Also considered are the differences between the divine and human sides of truth and the differences between Christ's work for the believer and his work in the believer. A pointed revelation of the power of the cross, freedom from the law and the strength available against sin. - Back cover.
