Layout: Single column of text, in 16 lines, with marginal and interlinear glosses; prick marks obscured by trimmed edges. Later inscriptions at end of codex are written in long lines.
Script: Both main text and glosses are written in proto-Gothic book hand of the mid-to-late 12th century; inscriptions on the final leaf are written in Gothic hands of the 14th- and 15th-centuries, along with a partially erased, 15th-century Humanist hand.
Decoration: Initial in green ink at 1r, equivalent to 6 lines of marginal text; elaborated initial at 3r, equivalent to 18 lines of marginal text.
Binding: Bound in red velvet over boards, with brass clasps, 18th- or early 19th-century.
Origin: Copied in the mid-to-late 12th century, presumably in Italy.
