We bought this to track elderly relatives with advancing Alzheimer's who insist they are still competent to drive. Easy to install and operates well. This does not operate as you might expect from the movies or TV but it does send text messages to our cell phones when the car leaves the zone and when it returns. We get some peace of mind but we can't help if they get lost, drive too slowly or run through stop signs. We have not hidden the unit and have told them about it so they also feel better knowing that we know if they go out in the car. Tracking on the computer is very accurate (we can tell the car is at WalMart, etc) but it lags real time by 5 -10 minutes. In the "makes no sense department" - Zoombak sent a "free" auto installation kit when we signed up for one-year of coverage! But - we had to buy the auto installation kit so we could install the Zoombak in their car before we could activate it. After we had it up and operating for several weeks they sent us the free installation kit - that we now have no need for. What are they thinking in marketing?
