Videocassette version of feature film originally issued in France as a motion picture in 1938 (c1937), preceded and followed by added information about the making of the film. This version originally published in 1987 in videodisc format and in 1999 in DVD format by Criterion. The motion picture version was believed destroyed by the Nazis from the end of World War II until 1958, when Jean Renoir restored the film.
