"My pal Trigger tells how Roy Rogers obtained his magnificent horse Trigger and begins with horse trader Roy Rogers as he prepares to breed his best mare with his best friend's Palomino stallion. King of the Cowboys in which Roy Rogers played himself, a rodeo star assigned by the governor to investigate a series of warehouse bombings. Song of Texas, Roy Rogers quits the rodeo operated by larcenous Jim Calvert and goes into the ranching business. Utah, Tex poses as an outlaw and discovers that the mysterious train is part of a rustling operation headed by Hiram Slaughter and his henchman Badger. Under California stars - Trigger is kidnapped and held for a $100,000 ransom."--Container.
