When Alice and her brother visit their aunt for a fortnight they find themselves terribly bored. That is until they discover Mrs Tredegar's garden with it's huge green ship. Together with Mrs Tredegar they visit many far away lands including Italy, Egypt, the Arctic and the tropics. They even survive a night of a wild, ravaging storm. Suggested level: primary.
