The correspondence, writings and photographs in this collection document the psychoanalytic practice and scholarship of Gregory Zilboorg, the relationship between Gregory and his second wife Margaret Zilboorg (neé Stone) and Gregory's photographic portraiture. The collection includes complete manuscripts for History of Medical Psychology (1941) and Sigmund Freud (1951). Subjects of the photographic portraits include Jean Piaget, Diego Rivera, Raymond de Saussure and Henry Sigerist. Gregory Zilboorg is the likely photographer of these portraits, though he is not positively identified.
