Notes: 24 original lithographs by Al Hirschfeld. Each plate measures 9.25" X 12" and tipped in along the left side of the plate. All lithographs are signed by Hirschfeld.
"This album was edited by Andre Gloeckner and was published in a limited edition of one thousand copies by the Hyperion Press of New York in December MCMXLI. All the illustrations are original lithographs by the artist on handmade paper manufactured by Canson and Montgolfier. The text was set in Caslon and printed by the Triggs Color Printing Corporation. Binding done by George McKibbin & Son. The cover was hand-colored by the Creative Printmakers Group. This is Number 889."
