The collection consists of eleven items, including six letters: to Mr. Norris, 18 Feb. 1888, supplying the correct title for his lecture; to H. Perry Smith, 4 Oct. 1888, concerning a lantern needed for his lecture; to Mr. Robinson, 11 Jan. 1894, about a meeting of the 13 Club; to My dear Spielman, 23 May, 1896, looking forward to seeing him shortly; to My dear Hicks, 13 July 1903, asking him to read a children's play, comparing it to the work of Lewis Carroll, with two sketches; to My dear Ross, undated, about the word Autophagi, with an illustration.

Also, three autographs: on letterhead for Lika Joka, Furniss' short-lived magazine, circa 1890; on a card, dated 1902; on a menu from the Leeds Dickens Fellowship supper in honour of Harry Furniss, 8 Nov. 1905. Also, signed receipt of J. Tolhurst, 29 Aug. 1888. Political sketch for Punch, circa 1880-1894, depicting British politicians punting on the Thames.
