Abstract:

Strong man: After a tour of duty in WWI, a witless young Belgian comes to America and seeks out his dedicated pen pal, but his quest for Mary Brown leads him from mishap to comic disaster. Tramp, tramp, tramp: When a destitute shoemaker's son enters a cross-country foot race with hopes of winning the $25,000 prize, spectacular comedy and destruction follow. Long pants: A sheepish young man springs into adulthood and is immediately smitten by the wrong woman, a hard-boiled drug smuggler. When she is jailed, he comes to her aid ushering his fugitive moll through a series of riotous scrapes.
