Abstract:

This is the story of a retired P.T. teacher (Vikram Gokhale) who wants to create an Olympic champion for his country. On the course, he finds five boys--each of them having some speciality--and he starts training them. When each boy falls in love with a girl, the teacher thinks that their friendship with the girls will affect their training; so he takes them to the house of his old student (Varsha Usgaonkar) and they rent the upper floor. During the same period, the teacher's relations with his wife go sour. The next day, one of the five girls (who happens to be the sister of Varsha) takes her four friends to Varsha's home where their lovers are living. Varsha decides that the girls will move in with her on the ground floor. Meanwhile, Prince, a gangster, warns Varsha to give him her home because there was a treasure saved in the ground of her house. Varsha rejects Prince's demands, and all the boys assault Prince. Varsha's old lover lives in her neighbourhood; but the relations between he and Varsha are not on good terms. The five boys and girls try to get them united again. Because of all this, the training soon becomes side-lined and Vikram decides to quit training completely. However, instead of going home he roams here and there. After some years he goes back to his home, wondering about the condition of his wife after his long absence. Once home, he is surprised to find that all five couples are now living in his house; not only are they all married, but each couple now has a child. It occurs to Vikram that he might still achieve his dream by training their children.
