With many pictures, screen shots, and a conversational style, Head First’s team hopes to teach web developers and designers about creating accessible, usable and engaging websites.  This publisher believes its reader is a learner and that learning is best accomplished through specific scenarios.  Various scenarios include a small design agency, an individual’s travels in Japan, a local record store, a small college and an audio book store.  While this book can serve as a good reference for web design, it might serve readers better if it were a textbook for a specific class or workshop.  Perhaps an even better format would be to have an accompanying audio or video file of the authors.  This file could be very interactive, allow for questions to be sent and accompany a much shorter book that would include only the most important elements of web design.
