Sir Rabindranath Tagore makes first appearance in talking films.] Tagore, now touring Europe, is the Orient's foremost philosopher and writer (117 ft.) -- Gallant Fox wins $61,975 Preakness in thrilling race. Vice-president Curtis and Mrs. Gann among 40,000 fans at Pimlico, Md. Earl Sande, noted jockey, is fined $50 by starter, then wins over $50,000 riding Gallant Fox to victory -- "Uncle Robert" presents his pals.
