Miscellaneous papers and correspondence of Henry Helmuth covering his college studies, legal practice, and civic engagements. The collection contains items that deal with local politics, including events leading to Philadelphia Act of Consolidation (1854), and the affairs of the University of Pennsylvania, including a conflict that involved Rev. Frederick Beasley. Also included is Helmuth's collection of autographs and his college commonplace book.

Scattered personal and professional correspondence of Henry R. Percival, chiefly letters addressed to him (1880-1893). Also included a catalog of book of Thomas C. Percival (1850s-1860s).
