Abstract:

With the Nazi invasion of Holland, Corrie ten Boom's family joins the resistance to help save persecuted Jewish families. When they are arrested and imprisoned in concentration camps themselves, they have nothing left to cling to but their faith.

Based on the true story that has captivated over 8,000,000 readers, The Hiding Place is one of the most extraordinary stories to come out of World War II. Filmed in Holland and other authentic European locations, the film traces the lives of Corrie ten Boom, her father, and sister Betsie, from the quiet years before World War II, to their work with the underground in helping to save the lives of countless Jewish families. The ultimate price they pay for their efforts is arrest and imprisonment in one of Nazi Germany's most dreaded concentration camps. In the midst of monstrous cruelty and suffering, Corrie and Betsy must face the greatest test of their faith in God and their ability to love mankind. - Container.
