Collection consists of photographs from the invention of photography until the present. Most are by Americans, but the work of British, French, Italian, German, and Czechoslovakian photographers is also represented. The wide range of images includes landscapes, interiors, portraits, and abstract works. Hillers, William Jackson, Victor Albert Prout, John H. Garo, Bruce Davidson, W. F. H. Titzenthaler, William Bell, Timothy O'Sullivan, Brett Weston, Robert Frank, Percy Byron, Adolphe Braun, Andreas Feininger, Aaron Siskind, and Minor White.
