Yad VaShem is a complex of museum, art, and archives in Jerusalem built as a memorial for the victims of the Nazis and the heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, and dedicated to collecting and preserving documentation of the Holocaust. [2] Traces the beginnings of the Jewish state in Israel and gives a background of the Middle East region.
