Intended for teachers and librarians, the text is divided between personal retellings, research sources, and reference sources. Representative contributions include five poems from "Blue Tattoo" by Lyn Lifshin, and discussion of preparing a Holocaust unit for high school students, genocide studies and future directions of Holocaust research, the role of the Holocaust historian, and Holocaust research using the Internet.
