ABS copy: modern binding, 3/4 dark red leather and dark red cloth. Gold tooled spine. White end papers. Plain edges. Title, place, printer's name, and date in gold on spine. Some water stains. Many MS notes, mainly in the N.T. section.
Text printed in double column, verse form. Verse nos. indented in matching type. Title centered at top of left hand page, chapter no. at top of right hand page, with running heads, all between single rules. Chapter summaries in italics. References on both margins. Head- and tailpieces. Engraved initials indented over 7-8 lines at the beginning of books, and bold-face type initials indented over 2 lines at the beginning of chapters. Full page engraving with the garden of Eden, preceding the O.T.
Includes: "To the Most High and Mightie Prince, Iames ... "; "The Translators to the Reader"; "The names and order of all Bookes ..." (first group of pages).
