One of the important books ever written about Buffalo

Author Shawn Lay relied on the KKK membership list in our collection as the basis for this study of the demographics of the Klan chapter in Buffalo, NY. His findings refute the stereotype that the Klan attracted only rural, under-educated, low-income whites and that it attacked only Jews and African-Americans....
